Soccer is the fastest growing sport in the world! Kids who play youth soccer perform better academically on average than kids that do not play sports. Soccer helps develop important healthy lifestyle habits; reduce chances of behavioral issues; develop social skills; create a sense of community; inspire increased confidence; and enhance character development. Ultimately, youth soccer is a great way to make friends, enjoy the camaraderie of teams, and have a ton of fun!
This isn’t just our opinion.
The CDC states, “…physical activity can have an impact on cognitive skills and attitudes and academic behavior, all of which are important components of improved academic performance. These include enhanced concentration and attention as well as improved classroom behavior.”http://www.cdc.gov/healthyyouth/health_and_academics/pdf/pape_executive_summary.pdf
